The Institute for English Language Education (IELE), Theodore Maria School of Arts, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), partnered once again with Pramandanijjanukroah School to host the 4th Annual MEP English Camp on September 11, 2026. The event, organized under the ongoing Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions, began with opening remarks from the Director of Pramandanijjanukroah School and Dr. Nida Boonma, Director of IELE, highlighting the importance of developing English communication skills through engaging learning experiences beyond the classroom.
Under the theme “Effective English Communication for Real-World Experience,” students participated in interactive, station-based activities designed to strengthen practical communication skills, expand vocabulary, and build confidence in using English in everyday situations. Continuing a key feature from the past two years, the program also included activities related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), encouraging students to engage with global issues and sustainability concepts through active English communication.
The camp was led by Ajarn Daniel W. Merrillat, Ajarn Mario Ocampo,Jr, Ajarn Nina Nipatsan, Ajarn Pawinee Phattanawibul, and Dr. Sandor Danka, from IELE, with strong support from undergraduate student volunteers and students from Assumption University’s Master of Arts in English Language Teaching (MA ELT) program.
