Graduation Requirements

Plan A Type A1 : Thesis

  • Have proposed the thesis and passed the final oral thesis defense evaluated by a committee appointed by the University. The final oral defense is open to the public.
  • Have the thesis/part of the thesis published or have obtained an acceptance of its publication in a national or international journal in accordance with OHEC’s Regulations on Criteria for Selection of Academic Journals for Publication of Academic Works (B.E.2556)

Plan A Type A2 : Coursework and Thesis

  • Have completed all the courses of the curriculum
  • Have obtained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00
  • Have proposed the thesis and passed the final oral thesis defense evaluated by a committee appointed by the University. The final oral defense is open to the public.
  • Have the thesis/part of the thesis published or have obtained an acceptance of its publication in a national or international journal in accordance with OHEC’s Regulations on Criteria for Selection of Academic Journals for Publication of Academic Works (B.E.2556) or have presented it at a conference and the full paper published in the proceedings

Plan B : Coursework and Independent Study

  • Have completed all the courses of the curriculum
  • Have obtained a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.00
  • Have passed the oral and/or written comprehensive examination
  • Have proposed the independent study and passed the final oral independent study defense evaluated by a committee appointed by the University. The final oral defense is open to the public.
  • Have the independent study/part of the independent study published in any retrievable form

  • Have passed the qualifying examination
  • Have passed the dissertation defense which open to public
  • Haveat least 2 the dissertation published or have obtained an acceptance of publication in a national or international journal or academic publication, which has the peer reviewand according to Office of Higher Education Commission announcement 2558. In case student gets research funding from external agency, the research publication is according to that external agency’s requirement.
