The Theodore Maria School of Arts, Assumption University of Thailand (AU)  reaffirmed its mission to elevate language learning by organizing the CEFR English Placement Test, on February 27, 2026,  for nearly 400 teachers and staff at St. Gabriel’s College. This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting schools in developing strong English foundations through internationally aligned assessment.

In collaboration with the Institute for English Language Education (IELE), Deputy Directors Dr. Tharinee Kamnoetsin, Ajarn Pawinee Phattanawibul, and Ajarn Nina Nipatsant provided a focused training session on the CEFR test structure and components from National Geographic Learning, ensuring participants were well-prepared. The IELE team also supervised the test administration to maintain smooth operations and academic integrity.

To further support school planning, IELE offers a CEFR performance report with proficiency levels and tailored recommendations—a valuable resource for guiding planning and professional development.
